pls someone help me find my career Tattoos?

Hey guys, I'm 21 and live in a city of Mackay, Queensland Australia, and have wanted to be in the industry tattoo for years! I have been able to draw only from the age of 18 mnths! (I mean you get an elephant at 18 mnths) I have been moving in the brick walls trying to finde an apprenticeship for tattooing, I have a passion for art! Can someone in the tattoo industry to help me as I do? i dont care how hard that is, I'll try til i get it! I am willing to do anything .... so pls help ...

I'm not trying to be mean, just honest and helpful. This may be the portfolio. What one person thinks is great art, not always qualify as great art to the masses. I've had many people over the years arrive with bags of what they call great art, and when I look through it, drawings and paintings seem something a third grader did. You may need to take some art classes and build your portfolio to gain new experiences. When you go to the shops, are not in a purse or just say they do not care? There is a high confidence factor in accepting an apprentice, and if another person street looking to get in the door, turn away. I got my learning from my main artist. I had been getting tattooed on him and he knew that I was an artist, and we talked and joked about my tattoo. Finally, I said I was interested and he took me under his wing. I really think you need to know an artist or seven years before trying to get an apprenticeship. Good luck, is a difficult industry to get into. If you're art is so great as you say, keep fighting.
